After some tapping-mode debugging, I now know what almost all the lines connecting the MultiMode head (multimode head.jpg) to the base (multimode base 0.jpg) do. Take a look at my notes.

If anyone has figured out line 4, or is using a MultiMode as an STM, please send me an email.
